There are hundreds of great nutritious foods out there, but one of my all time favourite things to keep in the fridge (apart from fresh fruit and vegetables), is cooked chicken breast, shredded in the food proccessor.
In terms of its nutritional wrap, its a great lean protein that can be added to so many dishes at any time of the day. Protein is the building block in our body needed for growth and repair and it helps to keep you full and your energy levels up which help concentrate and keeps you going until your next meal.
Simply oven bake some chicken breast, chopped it into a few big chunks, throw it in the food processor until it is finely shredded. Place it an airtight container in the fridge to use throughout the week.
